Summer has arrived in full colour. The air is fragrant with blossoms, and our garden is bursting with fruits and vegetables ready for the table. Bees hum busily from flower to flower, building honey for our morning tea, while our team potters between garden beds with baskets and wheelbarrows in tow. The mountain surrounds us with a tapestry of organic greens, vibrant indigenous blooms, and the easy rhythm of life outdoors.

As proud as we are of our own patch of earth, we can’t help but admire our neighbours who’ve created beautiful spaces of their own.

At La Cotte, soft lawns spill into floral borders that frame the landscape perfectly. Sterrekopje invites you to wander – gentle gravel paths lead you through thoughtfully planted sections. And Montpellier carries that Tuscan spirit, with terracotta pots, fruit trees, and rocky textures that catch the afternoon light just right.

If you’re visiting Franschhoek for the Open Gardens this month, do stop by for a night or two.

We’d love to share a little of our garden (and its stories) with you.
